Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid gathered community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, placed emphasis on intercultural coexistence, religious freedom and respect. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers shared reflections from faith, culture and public service on how mutual knowledge can strengthen coexistence.

In the discussion, participants considered themes such as human rights, cultural identity and news eu law respect for differences. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
